After a long and messy breakup, Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are apparently expecting a second child via surrogate. A rep for Khloé confirmed the news to E!, explaining that the baby — who is reportedly due to arrive any day now — was conceived in November (when Khloé and Tristan were still together). “Khloe is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We’d like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloé can focus on her family,” the rep said.

For those who’ve tried and failed to keep track: Khloé and Tristan broke up in June 2021 after years of dating on and off, during which they welcomed their daughter, True Thompson, who is now 4. Their tumultuous relationship involved several instances of Khloé publicly finding out that Thompson had cheated on her. They reunited sometime toward the end of last year, only for Thompson to become embroiled in yet another cheating scandal in December after a paternity suit revealed he’d fathered a child with fitness model Maralee Nichols while he and Khloé were reunited. Khloé has since made it pretty clear she’s moved on and is rumored to be dating someone new, which … thank God.

A source for E! offered some timeline clarification, saying that “the baby was conceived via surrogate before it was revealed to Khloé and the public that Tristan was having a baby with someone else in December.” Understandably, she and Thompson have reportedly “not spoken since December outside of co-parenting matters.”
